What is the Studio?
Travel Creators are artists who create memorable experiences. At Alike, we believe that artists deserve to have the space to create, so we came up with the Studio and not a “shop” or “storefront”.
The Studio is your happy place, where you can upload all your trip stories, customise your display theme, set up your content feed, see your earnings, review your statistics and so much more.
Why don’t you sign in and take a spin of the Studio for yourself? You can go as fast or as slow as you like, we will not put a stop to the magic you choose to create.
How will I know when somebody books any of my trip stories?
We know that everyone loves Dashing Dashboards and we do, too!
Every detail - bookings received and completed, stories uploaded, money earned, followers, questions and much more will be visible to you in the studio, in a way that makes the numbers make sense and gives you more time to plan your travel rather than worry about logistics of tracking your success.
We will also send you emails that give you an accurate picture of all sales made by you in the Studio, if that’s your choice.
I am not a “techie” - can I still work with Alike and create stories?
Yes! We’ve got YOU! No tech knowledge or love for tech is needed. At Alike, we want you to focus on weaving travel magic and content creation and not worrying about things like API’s or cropping tools or payout schedules!
Our platform is called a no-code platform where creating stories is as simple as taking a flight! Our Drag & Drop content editor does all the heavy lifting for you without any need to know Java, Python, HTML 5 or any such tech! If you know how to upload a post on FB or a video on TikTok you will be at home creating content on Alike! That’s how seamless we have made the experience of content creation.
I have uploaded my trip story but don’t see it?
That’s great, now you just sit back and relax! Once you have submitted your story our team will quickly review your submissions to make sure it appears just right and is easily accessible to all Alike customers. In about 6 - 8 hours, your story will be shared with the world on Alike.
How can I share my trip stories?
Our aim is to make it super simple!
Once you have published your story and it has been approved, you can share your creations using easily shareable links directly from your story. Or you could just copy your story URL and share it via your social media channels/ email / whatsapp and more.

How will I be paid?
Welcome Home, Travelpreneur. Every time someone books your trip story, a percentage of the sale is credited to your Wallet on Alike and is visible via your Studio Dashboard.

How can I use my money?
You can use your earnings towards booking your next holiday or just withdraw the funds into your bank account.
Alike does not set any restrictions such as minimum days or lock in of the revenue that you have earned. These are your funds! We ensure that they are available for withdrawal as soon as the customer completes a trip booked from your story.
Is there a limit on how much I can earn?
The sky's the limit.
Literally! Head over to Alike’s “How Much Money Can I Make” section on the Homepage to know how, now! So you can just keep traveling and sharing stories. The money becomes an additional perk and will keep increasing as more people book your trips, so make them count.
How do I make a booking?
Select an activity or attraction. Click the Tour Date to check for availability and select a date. Only available dates will be highlighted.
Some tours have multiple options that will appear on the main page eg: tour language, seating, public group or private tour, etc. Be sure to select the options relevant to you. You’ll then be prompted to select your desired starting time (if applicable) and the number of participants in your group. Then click ‘Continue’
Fill in your personal information and payment details on the following page and click ‘Confirm booking’
Once you submit your booking the reservation will be confirmed and you will receive an email , this will not be your ticket. In most cases booking is confirmed immediately after purchase or in the next few hours - unless indicated otherwise on the activity description. You’ll receive the ticket voucher via a separate email. Please print your ticket (unless it’s a mobile voucher) and bring it to the meeting point stated on the ticket.
Do I need to register in order to make a purchase?
You can either register online or continue as a guest when making a purchase. We recommend that you register and create an account so you can access your order directly on our website anytime, anywhere; and also receive various offers and discounts.
Once I have booked, is my reservation confirmed?
In most cases booking is confirmed immediately after purchase or in the next few hours - unless indicated otherwise on the activity description. You’ll receive a booking confirmation e-mail which is NOT your ticket and another email with the voucher.
If you’re a registered client you can confirm and also download your vouchers, directly from your account. If you’re not registered and fail to receive your confirmation email, check your Spam folder or contact us at care@kitmytrip.com.
After making a booking, how long should I wait to receive my tickets / voucher?
Different activities have different confirmation times which are indicated in the activity details. Most activities are either instantly confirmed or confirmed within 24 hours.
You will receive your tickets on your email 24 hours prior to your participation date.
What is the difference between an open dated ticket, one day ticket and a reservation ticket?
With an open ticket you can enter a museum, exhibition, or any other attraction during operating hours, without having to decide a specific day and time. The day ticket is valid for the whole day (24hrs- during working hours of the activity) that you reserve, without a specific time, while the reservation ticket is valid only on the day and the time that you select during the purchase.
Why do I need to choose an entry time?
Many of our guided tours include round-trip transportation from and to your hotel. Please check the product page's 'What's Included' section to see if this service is available.
Some attractions have time slots and you are only permitted to visit during your reserved time slot.
Do you offer tours and activities in my travel destination?
We offer currently over 120 attractions and activities across 6 destinations. Simply search by destination.
Can I book an hotel, flight tickets or a car rental through you?
Alike does not offer bookings for flights, car rental or hotels yet. We specialize in sightseeing tours, excursions, attractions and events.
Can I make changes to my booking?
It may be possible to make changes to your reservation, however this depends upon the type of change required and is at the discretion of the travel service provider. Contact Alike Customer Care with your booking code and we’ll be able to advise you if the change is possible.
Please select your tour carefully, as not all travel service providers will accept changes once you’ve received confirmation of your reservation.
How do I cancel my booking?
Unfortunately, not all tours and tickets can be cancelled as it depends on the policy of the individual travel service provider. Details can be found both on the product page and voucher.

Which currency does Alike accept?
Alike displays activity prices in a number of currencies. The price can be viewed in USD, HKD, SGD, THB, CNY, MYR, EUR & GBP but the billing currency would remain USD, the credit card statement would show the price in USD. Alike does not charge any service fees or additional fees. If for some reason you see any extra fees, please check with your credit card issuer.
How can i see how much it will cost?
First choose your preferred currency from the drop down menu on the website or within your settings on the app. Check the cost of your preferred currency by selecting the package and date, then adjusting the units to reveal the final amount payable. Kindly note that due to currency fluctuation, the cost of the same activity may marginally change from time to time.
Whilst kitmytrip does not charge any handling fee in addition to the amount stated on our platform, foreign transaction fees may be levied by your card's issuing bank if you pay in a non-local currency. Please check with your bank if you have any queries prior to making a purchase.
Is my payment secured?
Yes, we use an online payment system that is internationally recognized and entirely secure. It protects against fraud and unauthorized transactions by encrypting your payment information.
What type of payment options do you accept?
Alike accepts all major international credit cards like Visa and Mastercard, and the leading digital wallet payments such as Apple Pay and Ali Pay, with more convenient payment options coming up soon, and guarantees the highest standards of security and control.
When am I charged for the booking?
Your credit card will be charged immediately upon booking. If the local tour operator does not accept your booking, the charged amount will be credited back to the account from which the charge was drawn at no extra cost.
I booked an activity but I haven't received my tickets or voucher. What do I do?
Check your spam folder. Otherwise, we may have sent you an email stating when you can expect your voucher. While we’ve successfully received your reservation we might be waiting for further confirmation from the tour organizer. You’ll receive the tickets 24 hours prior to your travel date.

What happens if I lose my voucher or delete my payment confirmation?
If you’re registered all of your purchase details can be viewed in the profile you created at registration. If you made a purchase as a guest, send an email to care@kitmytrip.com, and we’ll resend you the reservation confirmation. If the reservation requires a print-out voucher, you must reprint the voucher to access your activity.
What should I do if i have a problem after my purchase or during a tour?

I forgot to print out my voucher, can i use my smartphone instead?
Most, not all tour operators accept e-tickets upon entry, as they will be scanning the bar code/QR code that's in it. However, we recommend that you bring a print-out copy of your voucher.
What do I do if I arrive late for my tour?
Refer to the contact details listed on your voucher and contact the tour operator for instructions. There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to join your tour at a later departure, as they may be fully booked. Please allow sufficient time, whenever possible, to reach the departure point in time for your tour. Many travel services carry heavy cancellation penalties.
I can't find a specific product, can you help me?

What do I do with my voucher?
The voucher will be emailed to you 24 hours before your participation / travel date, and you will need to present it at the experience's entrance to gain admission or access.
What is Dubai Touristor?

Is there any validity of using Dubai Touristor?
You can redeem all your offers from Dubai Touristor within 10 days from your selected start date.
How can I redeem the attraction tickets in my Dubai Touristor pack?
You will be receiving an email with your ticket. The ticket will have the bar code/QR code that you can present at the venue. The ticket is only valid on the date of visit you selected during redemption.
How can I redeem the SIM card and Dubai Metro Pass in my Dubai Touristor?
You can redeem the SIM card/Dubai Metro Pass (NOL) card at kitmytrip shop located at the Arrivals Hall of Dubai International Airport T1 and T3.
What is the validity in redeeming the Dubai Touristor pack?
You can redeem the Dubai Touristor pack within ten (10) days from the date of redemption.
Can I get a refund for those unredeemed offers in my Dubai Touristor Pass?
You have 10 days to redeem all your offers in your Dubai Touristor pack, and any unredeemed offers will be forfeited. Unfortunately, no refund shall be issued.
Can I purchase Dubai Touristor for someone else?
Yes. You can do the normal purchase and provide the email address of the recipient so he/she can receive the redemption confirmation.
